About Mika
Hello!
I'm Mika (Mee-Kah), an illustrator, painter and maker who teeters between Fairy Land, Portland Oregon and Wild West known as Provo Utah.
I studied Creative Advertising and design in school, but my heart has always been in illustration and making all kinds of crafts. Much of my inspiration comes from my Mexican heritage, folk art, memories, and mischief.
I am available for freelance and commissioned pieces! One reason I love this job is that every project has been very different and unique to each of my clients.
In my free time I like eating chocolate things, experimenting and playing with new mediums, dancing to reggaetón in my kitchen with my kids, watching taskmaster, and pinching Robbie’s bum.
