About Mika
Hello!
I'm Mika (Mee-Kah), an illustrator, designer, and maker who currently lives in the beautiful fairy land of Portland, Oregon.
I studied Creative Advertising and design in school, but my heart has always been in illustration and making all kinds of crafts. Much of my inspiration comes from my Mexican heritage and spending my formative years in Mexico City.
I am available for freelance and commissioned pieces! One reason I love this job is that every project has been very different and unique to each of my clients.
In my free time I like eating chocolate things, experimenting and playing with new mediums, dancing to reggaetón in my kitchen with my kids, watching dumb TV, and pinching Robbie’s bum.
